Min-Hsiu received an internship offer from iRobot and will join iRobot as a Data Science intern in 2020 summer. He will conduct research projects on predictive maintenance of robot vacuums, which is closely related to the field of data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics. The projects are aiming to provide novel solutions for the next generation of intelligent robot vacuums.
Min-Hsiu’s MS research in remaining useful life estimation of fatigue damaged samples through multiple non-destructive testing sensors has prepared him required skills in data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics. This thus helps him to earn this internship position and have an opportunity to apply his study in the industry.
